Delete Your Account
You can delete your Cigar Deals Online account and everything we hold about you at any time. There are two ways to do it, and neither requires you to explain why. You can also delete individual piecesof your data and keep your account — see below.
If you have never signed in, there is nothing to delete — we hold no personal profile for anonymous visitors. Your watchlist and age confirmation live only on your own device, and uninstalling the app removes them.

Delete some of your data, and keep your account
You do not have to choose between keeping your account and removing something from it. Each of these takes effect on its own:
- A watched cigar:remove it from your watchlist in the app or on the website. The record is deleted outright — not just switched off — so the email address attached to it goes with it.
- A price alert, without signing in: every alert email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it deletes that watch, and works whether or not you have an account.
- A saved search filter: delete it from your saved filters. Nothing of it is retained.
- Anything else: email [email protected] from the address on your account and tell us what you want removed. You do not have to close the account to make the request.
One exception, in your favour: if an alert email bounces or you report it as spam, we keep a record that your address should not be emailed. That record exists so we stop contacting you, and deleting your account removes it along with everything else.
Delete your account — from inside the Android app
- Open the More tab.
- In the account card at the top, tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deletion happens immediately. You are signed out as soon as it completes, and the watchlist stored on your device is cleared along with it.
Delete your account — by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or you signed in on the website, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with. Send it from that address so we can tell it is your account — we will not delete an account on the word of a third party.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes, permanently:
- Your email address, name, and profile picture URL.
- Your Google account identifier.
- Every price alert and watched cigar attached to your account or your email address.
- Any saved filters, and any votes or comments you left on deals.
What remains is data that does not identify you. Outbound click records — which offer was clicked, and from which retailer — carry no account reference, user ID, or IP address, so there is nothing in them to trace back to a person. Aggregate pricing and catalog data is unaffected.
How long it takes
Deletion from the app is immediate. Emailed requests are actioned within 30 days, and in practice much sooner. We keep no backup copy of an account past our ordinary infrastructure backup rotation.
Deleting your account does not stop you using Cigar Deals Online — every comparison, search, and browsing feature works without an account. You can sign in again later, and a new account will be created from scratch.
