I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar, I have been a fan of the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial for a while now and this reminds me of its big brother, very similar in flavor profile, extremely balanced but with an added kick of strength and intensity. I never sprung for a full box of the My Father Limited Editions because I wasn’t overly impressed with them and didn’t see much aging potential, but I will be buying these for sure, they are more than ready to smoke now but I imagine a few years will do these very well and I can’t wait to see what they are like.

I Looks like it tastes. Performs in a slight curvature to burn, and pleasant 'nuff resistance to draw. Invisible seams give no guff. Ponderous semi-sweet/baking chocolate and ever-toasting hardwood primary notes. Viscous molasses high-up middling along-side baking spice, muffled black pepper, and floral/anise lilt. The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Sucesor Limited Edition 2024 Torpedo started out over the medium strength mark with some intense flavor combinations through the first third. As the cigar continued, some of the balance was lost, but the cigar remained pleasant to smoke. I enjoyed the cigar, but it didn't quite get there for me in the second third to make this something I'd seek out in the future, despite the better than average price point for the current 2024 market.
