This oily robusto burns evenly, showing a mostly woody character with touches of graham cracker, milk chocolate and caramel. The finish hints of spice.

Hanging Christmas lights on my house is the kind of hard work that calls for a cigar, so I’m smoking one from the legendary Cuban-legacy brand, Romeo y Julieta. I’m enjoying Romeo y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua in a 6-inch-by-50-ring Toro. Although most non-Cuban Romeos are made in the Dominican Republic, a Nicaraguan edition exists today as well.Read full review on Holt's Staff Reviews
Romeo y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua Magnum
Halfwheel · Nov 24, 2018 · July 2018
While I was hoping it not be the case with the Romeo y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua, the all habano blend turned out to be enjoyable but extremely linear, at least in the 6 x 60 Magnum vitola. Having said that the construction was quite good overall, and you can’t beat the price with a stick. In the end, while there are a number of more complex, more flavorful and better-constructed puros on the market, very few of them are priced as aggressively as the Romeo y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua, and that alone will be worth the price of admission for some.

The Romeo Y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua Toro is an average, albeit pleasant light-medium bodied cigar that will be popular with the Connecticut Shade category of cigar smoker. The strength never goes beyond medium, and the flavor intensity won't scare away casual smokers. With an attractive price point, and a 2+ hour smoking time, you're getting a significant value proposition with this cigar.
