Charges out of the gate with dense dark chocolate & molasses. A distant potpourri. Then via progression comes a deep, full spice. Allspice & anise seed. Black then red pepper then cayenne, smoothly. Very complex via addition & nuance of each note. Undertones are a bracing cedar which stiffens via toasting, leather, raisin/prune. Underbelly is topsoil & compost. Finish is of moderate length & all muddles there a tick, with a lingering tannin quality. Aroma is very-much a floral fruity showcase of
