Room 101 Cigars Room101 Farce Connecticut
Blending boutique eccentricity with morning elegance, Room101 Farce Connecticut is rolled at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. Cloaked in a golden Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over an Indonesian binder and a Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Pennsylvanian filler core, it yields a mellow-to-medium-bodied smoke rich with sweet cream, wildflower honey, dried fruit, and cured hay.

Room101 Farce Connecticut Robusto
Cigar Dojo · Dec 11, 2018
One day we will look back at the Connecticut Shade renaissance going on in the industry today and potentially wonder why it hadn’t happened before. After all, it’s not like mild smokers have gone extinct. For whatever the reason, I am glad it's here and is continuing. It’s great to see the Farce CT fall right in line with this fabulous trend. My recommendation is to grab a cup of joe and enjoy this cigar in the morning, or as a dessert accompaniment.

Room101 Farce Connecticut is a line produced by Room101, presented a year after the already well-known Farce Habano. The two lines are not only differentiated by the wrappers, but the whole blend is different. Furthermore, in the Farce Connecticut, the provenance of the binder has not been revealed. Even the sizes, although four in […]

There are a large number of “new age” Connecticut blends on the market these days—with more being introduced every month—most of which seemingly exists to push the boundaries of what a Connecticut-wrapped cigar can be. Unfortunately, while the Farce Connecticut does a few things very well—including a nicely balanced not-quite-medium level strength, an overly creamy profile and a persistent honey sweetness on the retrohale—there was just not enough consistent complexity or nuance to really hold my attention for the close to two hour smoking time. There is no doubt that the Farce Connecticut Super Toro has a number of positive attributes, but there are more flavorful, more complex and better-priced options on the market.

JUNE 29, 2021 - PHIL KURUT, COMEDY - CIGARS - MUSICROOM101 FARCE CONNECTICUT SUPER TORO (6 x 56)WRAPPER: ECUADORIAN CONNECTICUTBINDER: INDONESIAFILLER: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, NICARAGUA Adorned with a nice light brown wrapper and sporting simple and cool bands, the Farce’s foot and wrapper provide aromas of raisin, barnyard, hay, and cream. I’m a fan of the Farce Maduro. In fact, it made my Top Cigars of 2020 list, which you can check out here if you so desire, so I’m looking forward to test driving
