Perdomo Cigars Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut

Perdomo Habano Connecticut

Holt's Staff Reviews · Jul 29, 2021

Today, I am reviewing Perdomo Habano Connecticut in a 6 x 54 Epicure. The blend is also called Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut, a reference to how the wrapper is aged. The cigar is rolled with a glistening Ecuador Connecticut wrapper leaf like the brand’s bestselling Perdomo 10th Anniversary Connecticut blend.

The nut-and-honey quality of this big, yellowish Churchill is mild but clear, along with notes of lemon zest, herbs and a wheat-like finish. The draw is open and imparts a creamy smoke.

Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut Epicure

Developing Palates · Jun 26, 2026 · 2016

The Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Connecticut Epicure had an average flavor profile throughout, focused around the toasted cedar and oak, earth and cardboard. This is one of those "your Grandfathers Connecticut's" in regards to the classic flavor profile that's a bit dry with the cardboard/paper note to it. Not really the flavor profile I go for and not a cigar I'd really see myself returning to.
