Brand founder Nick Perdomo unveiled Lot 23 Maduro in cigars in 2007. The Lot 23 line is named for the Nicaraguan farm where the tobaccos are grown, a project near and dear to Nick because he developed the land with his father, Nick Sr., back when they began to expand their operations in 2000. All of the tobaccos in Lot 23 cigars are cultivated on the Lot 23 farm, including the cigar’s dark and oily wrapper leaf.

Lettuce looksie this Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro... Its cap is a tick spongy pre-light and softens further but only by a hair-so via burn. A mid-point soft spot annoys the heated shaft, soft even as compared to a not overly-stuffed roll. Seams hold. Draw is an even keeled open yet somewhat swampy thing come second-half. Burn operates on a slight then self-correcting curve come 2/3. Ash grows to an easy and sturdy inch at a time. Grey-to-silver stack of dimes there. Lots of rich smoke out-put even off
