The historic first Partagas handcrafted in Nicaragua and first wrapped in Connecticut shade, Cortado is rolled at STG Estelí. Featuring a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over an Indonesian binder and Honduran/Mexican/Nicaraguan long-fillers, it produces a decadent mild-to-medium smoke overflowing with sweet cream, warm vanilla, bright citrus, roasted nuts, and cedar.

Cappuccino | Pumpkin spice | Buttery suede When you retro-hale this thing, you get straight pumpkin spice, and that's nice. Goes well with the flannel shirt I'm wearing. Along with that and throughout, you get a dry cappuccino, some white chocolate, and a lot of buttery suede. Underneath is a slight honey-roasted peanut. The Partagas Cortado Corona is a very impressive cigar, a near perfect morning cigar to pair with your favorite coffee drink, or an anytime cigar when you're looking for something that isn't dominated by strength but offers balance and complexity instead. Other than the very delicate ash and the sudden introduction of heat at its conclusion, there is little to fault the cigar for, but plenty for which to praise it. The flavors all work well with each other, there is a near constant evolution of them by way of generally subtle handoffs, and the technical performance makes it easy to enjoy without issues. While I have yet to smoke the other sizes in the line, the Corona vitola is a definite winner and one that is definitely worth a try.

A large, blond double corona made with a flat head. First puffs are nutty and sweet like pecan sandies with hints of almond paste, vanilla and a zesty note of dried orange peel that lingers on the finish. The draw is lush, the burn, mostly even.
