Aganorsa Leaf Cigars Supreme Leaf

One of the most elusive, sought-after releases in modern boutique tobacco, Supreme Leaf is handcrafted at TABSA in Estelí, Nicaragua. An authentic Nicaraguan puro dressed in a Corojo '99 wrapper from Jalapa over Criollo '98 and Corojo '99 fillers, it delivers a rich medium-to-full smoke loaded with sweet cream, graham cracker, baking spices, red pepper, and molasses.

Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf Toro

Blind Man's Puff · Jan 22, 2021 · July 2020

Aganorsa Leaf brought a new line to TPE 2020, Supreme Leaf. The blend features tobacco grown 100% from Aganorsa farms and packaging has a look that is unique to the company. The blend uses a lot of Corojo 99 which is the only specifics given about the internals. It is a Nicaraguan puro and comes in boxes of 10. Supreme Leaf came in one vitola and launch, a 5 x 52 robusto and had a very small run of only 500 boxes. The Supreme Leaf made #15 on our Top 25 Cigars of 2020. This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience. Since then there has also been a Toro released with 1000 boxes made, and a Corona Gorda announced for early 2021 with 1,500 boxes made. Pricing is set at $9.95 a cigar. The vibrant colors of the packaging and bands are meant to convey the passion and enthusiasm that created the brand, and are quite a different look for the portfolio.

Supreme Leaf Torpedo

Halfwheel · Jan 11, 2022 · Aug. 13, 2021

When I first smoked the Supreme Leaf Robusto, I liked the cigar but felt it had a way to go before it seemed to match up to its lofty name. I don’t know what has happened between now and then, but the Supreme Leaf Torpedo is much closer to the first word in its name. The flavor profile is smooth, complex and balanced, while also being palate stimulating and maintaining a steady progression from start to finish. The construction is also quite good with just an occasional combustion hiccup in the second halves of the samples. This is simply an outstanding cigar that is worth smoking as soon as you can, as well as stashing some away to see how this already enjoyable flavor profile develops with time.

Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf Rothschild

Cigar Aficionado · May 21, 2024 · Cigar Insider

Charmingly box-pressed, this robusto is made with a closed foot and bronze-colored cover leaf. A tasty procession of leather, nuts, earth and almond emerge and linger on the palate, culminating in a rich finish. It has a fine draw and the combustion is dead-even.

One of the most talked about Aganorsa Leaf cigars this year has been the Supreme Leaf. This latest blend from Aganorsa Leaf is a Nicaraguan puro that is constructed of, and showcases, leaf that is 100% grown on the company’s farms in Nicaragua. Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf

Cigar Dojo · Apr 8, 2020

When a company that is already known for producing top-notch products with signature flavor profiles introduces a new cigar with such fanfare, it definitely needs to stand up to the hype. The Supreme Leaf will likely split the vote, either due to the cigar's adventurous packaging or its atypically dark and strong (at least for Aganorsa) profile. This is not to say that Supreme Leaf jumps the shark, as fans of Aganorsa Leaf will likely be happy to find a familiar experience with a twist. Supreme Leaf is polarizing from the outset, and whether or not smokers like the look or the profile, the cigar is likely a net benefit for Aganorsa, attracting new smokers to the brand (even if they'd rather gravitate to something less daring from Aganorsa) and expanding their range for veteran Aganorsa acolytes.

Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf Gran Robusto

Developing Palates · Apr 24, 2024 · February 2024

The Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf Gran Robusto was a good cigar, and a consistent one as well. All samples produced the same smoking experience which was to my liking. It has been a while since an AGANORSA smoked at this level, and this reminded me of some early AGANORSA/Casa Fernandez releases. It's not as refined as their offerings during that golden era, but a really good blend. A really good Nicaraguan puro.
