"Serenity now! Serenity NOW!" Frank Costanza's famous rant might not apply directly to cigars, but Asylum's Serenity Now interpretation delivers an interesting mix of relaxation and complexity. Unlike standard mild and mellow Connecticuts, this cigar offers greater depth, with a golden Connecticut-seed wrapper over Honduran and South American binder/fillers. It opens with classic creamy notes of vanilla, toasted almond, and cedar, while noticeable white pepper spice and citrus zest add unexpected vibrancy. As it progresses, the profile shifts toward buttered toast, caramel, and espresso, with spice mellowing slightly. In the final third, sweetness fades, leaving toasted oak, roasted nuts, cocoa powder, and a lingering pepper bite. The draw scores a consistent 8/10, providing smooth airflow, while the mostly sharp burn requires occasional touchups. With medium levels of flavor and body and gradually building strength, the Serenity Now cigar presents a more engaging take on a Connecticut cigar—one that may surprise hobbyists expecting something mild and straightforward.

Sweet cream | Dessert spices | Chamomile tea Pillowy-billowy soft, tho lacking in delineation on account of it. Lively oak in the first half, picks up a wet cardboard half-vibe in the second. Quite pleasant throughout, simply and in a straightforward manner. Cereal grain and golden hay over dirt base. White pepper. Pale spices. Draws a tick toward open but evenly-so. Burns at an even but quick-pace, lacks ash growth. Build-wise, nice tight seams, cap assemblage, with neither hard nor soft spots.
