The Habano is the third in the line of Asylum Cigars’ Insidious. The Insidious by Asylum Habano made its debut at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show in New Orleans. Like the Insidious Connecticut Shade and Insidious Maduro blends, the cigar features a sweet tip on the cap. This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience. The Insidious line debuted in the summer of 2014 with an Ecuadorian wrapped cigar over Honduran fillers and featuring a sweet tip, Asylum ‘s offering geared towards beginning cigar smokers. It expanded this spring with a maduro version that uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over the same binder and filler. Unlike the other Insidious offerings, the Insidious Habano is being launched in four sizes. While the Connecticut and Maduro lines had ring gauges all at 50 and above, the Insidious Habano will have ring gauges at 50 and below. Vitolas Available: 4 1/2 x 48, 5 x 50, 6 x 43, 7 x 48. The four sizes of Insidious by Asylum Habano is packaged in 25 count boxes.
