As strong as it looks, this dark robusto loads the palate with heady notes of heavily roasted coffee bean, earth and dark toast. Black pepper spice is contrasted by a bit of raisin sweetness. The cigar smokes evenly throughout.

Corona Gorda R. Sounds like a cigar a pirate would love. Get it? “Rrrrr.” It’s early. Anyway. The Knuckle Sandwich punches with spice and feathers in some cherry and dark chocolate. The sting of the spice hangs on in the finish. Cherry, dark chocolate, and earth rest on the palate and fade quickly.Spice singes my nose hairs

Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich 55

Developing Palates · Dec 4, 2023 · February 2023

The Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich 55 is unquestionably a more full bodied Espinosa cigar, but it still manages to deliver flavor nuances and some subtlety at times. The last third started out well, but became earth forward as it progressed. Despite being a larger format cigar, I thought it delivered well on flavors and the price point is in line with the current cigar market. I'd happily smoke another one of these again.
