This big, dark , log of a cigar has a jagged burn but lush draw that delivers plenty of sweet, rich tobacco flavor, cocoa powder, earth and a touch of ginger.

I Toothy, veiny, lumpy, less-than tight-seamed. Roynish! Lo, performs admirably. Even draw and only slightest curvature of line. Cosmetics smooth as heated. Interesting sour-cream'd cedar plays along-side vanilla sweetness. Fennel. Soft black pepper'd floral notes. Succinctly, cedar/black pepper primaries. That don't do the blend justice, tho. Citrus-barnyard under-belly. Quite complex. II Under-belly gains a fusty attachment which doth soar tastefully. Burn-line self-corrects just shy a' perfec

Well slap me silly and call me Steve McQueen. I think I finally found a regular production Macanudo that fires on more than 3-cylinders. Nothing against a milder Macanudo, but this sun-grown cigar definitely hits on a whole new high-revving rpm range...
