Rocky Patel Cigars Vintage 1990
Ranked in our Best Cheap Cigars Under $5 GuideThe Vintage series is named for the age of its wrapper, and 1990 uses a dark Honduran Broadleaf aged twelve years before rolling at El Paraíso in Honduras. Over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers, it smokes smoothly in the mild-to-medium range, with toast, coffee, earth, baking spice and cedar.

The Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Broadleaf Toro had an average flavor profile throughout and had that signature Honduran mustiness that some cigars from the region provide. Nothing all that exciting, but a serviceable flavor profile. The price is pretty attractive, and it's a long standing blend, but just not something I'd really see myself returning to.
