Rocky Patel Cigars Vintage 1992
Ranked in our Best Cheap Cigars Under $5 GuideVintage 1992 wraps a ten-year-aged Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf around a Nicaraguan binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, rolled at El Paraíso in Honduras. Long a favorite in the Vintage series, it is a smooth, medium-bodied smoke of earth, coffee and cocoa, accented by cedar and a sweet almond finish.

Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Churchill
Cigar Aficionado · Oct 1, 2018
Dark and squarely pressed, this Churchill imparts a dense, creamy smoke that's bright and cedary with plenty of almond and orange peel notes. The finish smacks of baking spices.

It had been way too long since I had smoked it. The flavors were great, subtle yet flavorful. I really enjoyed this cigar. The only negative thing I can say about it was the cap had issues when I removed it. Other than that a truly great smoking experience. If you haven’t had one of these yet, do yourself a favor and pick one up or a 5 pack. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.Read full review on Stogies on the Rocks

Flavors are excellent but a tight draw and slight bitterness at the end hurt the overall score.Read full review on Cigar Dojo
Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Sumatra Robusto
Developing Palates · Apr 3, 2026 · 2003
The Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Sumatra Robusto had a nice start as the earth with the decomposing leaves, that doesn't sound all that appealing, actually was. It took a step down in the second third as the leaf note departed, and remained at that level the rest of the way. I liked how things started and hoped that it would have continued longer, but it wasn't to be. Overall, not a cigar that I'd really see myself coming back to.
