2021 Marked the fourth year for the release of the RoMa Craft Craft. Each in the series is a showcase of the skills of the rollers at Fábrica de Tabacos NicaSueño S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Each year sees a new blend and shape, usually involcing multiple wrappers in an artistic way. RoMa Craft Craft 2021 has two different versions within this box of 10, one with a candela accent and one with a Connecticut shade accent. This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience. The rest of the blend is the same. The blend itself is very similar to the Neaderthal line with an Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, Indonesian besuki binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The main difference between the CRAFT 2021 and the Neaderthal is the absence of the Pennsylvania double ligero in the filler on the CRAFT, making it less strong than its sibling. All the cigars measure 5 5/8 x 60 in a double perfecto with a flag cap and unfinished foot. 2000 boxes of the RoMa Craft CRAFT 2021 were made and only sold to brick and mortar retailers.

The RoMa Craft Craft 2020 was the first in the Craft series I've had the opportunity to smoke, but based on the experience it will not be the last. The flavors were complex, balanced and kept my attention constantly through the entire smoking experience. Quality releases such as these are why RoMa Craft has such a strong following.
