This dark, box-pressed torpedo is well made with a toothy wrapper that has a bit of a sheen. It’s a strong smoke characterized by dark-roasted coffee, earth and leather. Notes of chocolate and crushed red pepper fall out of balance before the tart finish. The draw is open, but tasters experienced inconsistency on the burn.

This Villiger Villiger de Nicaragua Edición Limitada 2022 was a solid blend from beginning to end. Love the diversity of tobacco in the cigar. Rich profile that is one of the few examples of dark Ecuadorian Sumatra flavor working well. Some transitioning, but it made up for it with the depth and complexity. Nice strength and body level as well. If the factory keeps producing cigars like this, I see good things for Villiger.

Charred earth, berries, and spice. Interesting combination. The finish holds loosely to the charred earth, berries, and spice while adding in some watered-down coffee and a bit of milk chocolate.The retrohale brings out some sweeter berries, less charred earth, and caramel. Not too shabby.Rusted
