La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor

Holt's Staff Reviews · Oct 31, 2017

There aren't many brands in the cigar world that leave you wanting more, but La Aroma de Cuba is a brand that does just that. In the realm of cigars, there are brands that come and go, there are brands that exist for decades and then disappear, there are even brands that seem to arise from nowhere and receive unrivaled accolades without really doing much at all. La Aroma de Cuba has earned its fair share of praise through dedication, commitment and patience.

La Aroma de Cuba Pasión Encanto

Stogie Press · Nov 7, 2021

La Aroma de Cuba is a brand that has been around since 2002 and is one that has been a “go-to” for me, ever since the Mi Amor hit the shelves. Geez, I just love the Mi Amor. The brand, which is part of the Ashton cigars portfolio, has been rather quiet the last few Read more about Cigar Review: La Aroma de Cuba Pasión Encanto – Rated 95[…]

Ashton Virgin Sun Grown Illusion

Cigar Aficionado · Jan 1, 2024

With a brand as large as Ashton’s Virgin Sun Grown series (12 sizes in total), it’s easy for some of those cigars to get lost in the shuffle, especially with current trends favoring thicker smokes. But it would be a shame to overlook the Illusion, a long, thin lonsdale that gave an enchanting performance. It may not be the most popular size in the line, but it was the most memorable this year and a shape that best showcases the dark Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. Made by Arturo Fuente Cigar Co. in the Dominican Republic, the Illusion has a powerful earthy base punctuated and enhanced by a rich, precise roasted peanut quality that resonates clearly on the palate.

La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse

Cigar Dojo · Mar 18, 2015

Instead of wondering how a cigar could taste, La Aroma de Cuba made a cigar that tastes like a cigar should. This is an old school smoke that's an absolute dynamo, but that being said, the price point is very steep. Even though it is a limited release, 18 dollars is steep in my book (though they can be found for around $16 occasionally).

La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse

Halfwheel · Oct 21, 2014

If I had to use one word to describe the Noblesse blend, the first thing that would come to my mind is smooth . The profile is very well-balanced, with an ever present but never overwhelming pepper kick on the retrohale and a touch of spice on the tongue. The combination of nutty creaminess, morphing sweetness and solid medium strength is quite nice, with no one flavor detracting from the rest. Yes, the price is a bit of a kick in the pants, but as a once in a while smoke, it performs extremely well.

La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut Corona

Developing Palates · Sep 25, 2023 · June 2023

The Connecticut definitely had some strength and body, and the flavors were darker than your typical Connecticut as well. It really captured that modern Connecticut. I have a feeling that the cigar will be softer in a larger format, and that may make those more appealing to me. Overall, the La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut Corona was a solid cigar.
