Cohiba Serie MReserva Azual 2025
CigarCzars · May 19, 2025
Cohiba Serie M Reserva Azul 2025 is the fifth in a series of annual limited-edition Serie M cigars released since 2021. These cigars are made at the El Titan de Bronze Cigar Factory in Miami by some of the best cigar rollers in the business. Cohiba Serie M Azul cigars have a closed foot and triple cap with signature fan, and are made with a Dominican Corojo wrapper, Nicaraguan Esteli binder, and the following filler tobaccos: Nicaraguan Jalapa Viso and Ligero, Nicaraguan Esteli, and Dominican Piloto Cubano. The cigars became available in March 2025 in one Toro size (6 x 52) priced at $29.99 per cigar. For more information about these cigars, please see thepress release. The sample Cohiba Serie M Reserva Azul 2025 cigar began with a very enjoyable smooth, naturally sweet and extremely rich and mellow tobacco flavor (and texture) that can only be achieved with the use of premium well-aged tobaccos. The smoke was medium bodied and very well balanced, suitable even for beginners. The first 30 minutes of the cigar were simply delightful, and worthy of a rating of 4.75 points on a 5-point scale. After ashing the cigar for the first time at the 30-minute mark, the smoke gradually moved up into the medium-to-full bodied range and notes of wood and citrus became noticeable. The smoke was still mellow and smooth, but less sweet at this point. The flavor slipped down a bit to 4.5 points after the first ashing (at 30 minutes) until the second ashing at the 50-minute mark. It was at this point that the volume of smoke had declined enough to require a booster light to rectify the situation and prevent the cigar from eventually going out. Beyond the 50-minute mark, the flavor dropped again down to a rating of 4.25 points, then gradually down to a still-good 4 points by the very end. During the final 30 minutes, the cigar was less mellow but still smooth. The sweetness and citrus gradually disappeared, but the woodsy flavor remained and was joined by some leather and spice in the background. The cigar went out by itself after a total smoke time of 80 minutes with 2¼ inches remaining. The sample Cohiba Serie M Reserva Azul 2025 was a very well-made cigar. Except for a booster light to increase the smoke volume at the 50-minute point, no relights nor touch-ups were needed. The cigar burned evenly throughout, held a long ash and had a good draw. Overall, I rate the Cohiba Serie M Reserva Azul 2025 with an excellent 4.5 points on a 5-point scale. The cigar's great performance during the first 30 minutes was enough to make up for a drop in flavor near the end. All considered, the Reserva Azul 2025 is the highest rated version of Cohiba Serie M cigars that were reviewed on this website (as of this writing). Back in early March of 2022, General Cigar announced a line extension to its Cohiba Serie M blend. The original was released just over a year ago and new for 2022, they added a Corona Gorda to the line-up. One of the beautiful aspects of the Serie M is that it is made right here Read more about Cigar Review: Cohiba Serie M Corona Gorda – Rated 95[…]

The Cohiba Serie M impressed me quite a bit the first time I smoked it, and I am happy to say that 10 months of rest has only improved the final product. While the main flavors of creamy almonds and leather remain the same, there are some new secondary notes—including cloves and sourdough bread—as well as a sweetness on the retrohale that shifts from the caramel that was familiar from the original review in the first half to a distinct marzipan sweetness in the second half. In addition, every aspect of the construction was working in total harmony, with a slight waver to the burn line being the only minor issue I noticed. In the end, the Serie M is not only full of flavor and supremely well-balanced, but it also remains one of the best non-Cuban Cohiba blends I have smoked.

White pepper | Cocoa butter | Lemon twist Quite plush and darn nigh lush. Cushy delivery to palate, with a slight white pepper kick to keep me honest, awake. Cocoa butter, blonde coffee, white chocolate, twist of lemon. Table sugar. Not greatly delineated but not lumped together in a blob. Soft raw wood delineates sans policing. Consistent, but each aspect does get a spotlight in turn. Nicely nuanced if not complex, per se. Silty earthiness forms a deeper base via progression. Wild flowers tight

Rolled with a tan wrapper and pigtail cap, this well-made cigar has a strong almond character with notes of caramel, dried cherry and cedar. A leathery streak gains intensity, running right through each tasty layer before the fresh tobacco finish. It burns and draws evenly.

This April, General Cigar came out with the Cohiba Serie M. The Cohiba Serie M is made 100% in the U.S. and exclusive to it as well. For this special project, Cohiba turned to one of the most well known factories in the U.S., El Titán de Bronze Cigar Factory in Miami’s Little Havana district. This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience. Only 5,00 boxes were created for this project. The Cohiba Serie M blend contains a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, Double Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan Jalapa and Esteli and Dominican Piloto Cubano fillers. This is the first Cohiba to have a Corojo wrapper. It also features a closed foot, and a fan cap. Cohiba Serie M only comes in one size, a 6 x 52 Toro. Each cigar has an MSRP of $29.99 or a box of 10 can be purchased for $299.

Burnt, sour cedar kicks off the first draw but quickly gives way to oak, milk chocolate, and bits of spice. That initial draw had me worried this was going to be like that new in-law you meet that everyone tries to assure you, “He really isn’t that bad,” as he proceeds to fart 10 times during dinner.Lingering leather, milk ch

Cigar Dojo · Aug 6, 2024
The Cohiba Serie M Reserva Roja is the fourth Serie M installment from General Cigar Company, crafted at the renowned El Titán de Bronze factory in Miami, Florida. This luxury-priced cigar features both a new design and flavor blend for this year’s release. The smoking profile offers a salty, musk-forward flavor, complemented by notes of bitter espresso and powdered chocolate milk. The retrohale begins with hot black pepper and gradually transitions to light rosemary. As expected from El Titán de Bronze, the construction is solid, though the draw is loose, and the cigar occasionally burns hotter and faster than preferred. Overall, it’s a worthy addition to the Cohiba Serie M limited release line.

Developing Palates · Jun 16, 2021 · April 2021
The Cohiba Serie M is the Cohiba I have been seeking for 10 plus years. This is almost a continuation of the old-school, and good La Palina Goldie offerings, but with a twist. The cigar delivered those amazing El Titan flavors, and it showed beautiful harmony between Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco. There was complexity, depth and transitioning throughout. Packaging was amazing. Great cigar!
