Curivari Buenaventura Cremas C100
Cigar Aficionado · Dec 1, 2021
A creamy, nutty smoke with notes of graham cracker, nutmeg and black pepper that play off the solid walnut core. Spicy accents of cumin and saffron segue into the finish, which smacks of hazelnut coffee.

Blind Man's Puff · Oct 27, 2017 · July 2016
Curivari Buenaventura Cremas was first shown off at the 2016 IPCPR Trade show in Vegas. This is an extension of the original Buenaventura line which has been one of the best-selling lines for Curivari. This extension replace the original wrapper with an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper. This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience. The packaging has an old-school “Cubanesque” feel to itand the cigar has same filler tobaccos as the original Buena Ventura line. It was blended to be bolder than traditional Connecticut cigars. Curivari, is a small batch cigar company. For them, the handmade cigar is the epitome of the tobacco culture. In all their cigars, they use only the traditional Cuban cigar making process with authentic Cuban Criollo and Corojo seed grown in Nicaragua. All cigars are capped with a triple cap.

Halfwheel · Jun 29, 2020 · March 15, 2016
The Buenaventura BV Treas was a good cigar when it first came out and four years later, it’s a very good cigar. It’s certainly a tad bit milder than it was fresh, particularly when it comes to body and strength, but it remains a rather full-flavored experience from start to finish in both intensity and the number of flavors. Given the original price, it also remains one of the best values I’ve smoked in quite some time, though time isn’t free. If all cigars aged this well, people would never smoke fresh cigars.

Kaplowitz · Dec 5, 2017
Burns well outta the gate, but settles-in unsettlingly with a runner-threat. & what do we do about these sorta things, gentlepersons? Nothing. We do not scorch via torch, anyways. We rest stogie in our tray, the slow-burn side downward. It's science. It too works here, as the line fixes on its lonesome to a slight curvature. This is repeated though lesser-so in the second-half opening. Grey ash drops freely through-out, be thee warned oh, fancy-pants wearers. Seems a tick-quick of pace firstly,

The Buenaventura BV554 Limited Edition 2021 was the first cigar that I have smoked in 2022 that is truly complete. Good from beginning to end. The flavors were not overly complex, but they were enjoyable from start to finish. The coffee, cocoa and licorice notes were fantastic, and they were balanced out with some earth and spice notes. Really nice cigar.
