Released at the 2015 IPCPR Trade show, Gurkha Cigar Group announced the fourth installment of its Cellar Reserve series called the Gurkha Cellar Reserve Platinum Edition. The Platinum Edition the first in the series to not only be made in Nicaragua, but it is also the first cigar in the series to incorporate tobacco from Nicaragua. This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience.

This fat, double-tapered perfecto is topped with a pigtail cap and smokes evenly, delivering salty, earthy notes and a touch of spice before a finish heavy with minerals.
