My Father Cigars El Centurion
Originally released as a limited edition in 2007, El Centurion is blended by Don Pepín García and rolled at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí. Wrapped in a sun-grown Nicaraguan Criollo '98 leaf over estate Criollo and Corojo long-fillers, it provides a bold medium-to-full smoke bursting with cedar, leather, cinnamon, nutmeg, and Pepín's hallmark black pepper blast.

Tightly wrapped, somewhat tight a' draw. A spicy (cumin, nutmeg, cinnamon) sweet (car-a-mel sweetened cream) powerhouse with subtle nuances. Notes of every pepper braced by hardwood/cedar rising up from middlings. Barnyard under-belly wrapped in leather, seeped in its oils. Twixt even burnings is the need for two light re-touches.

Overall I was very impressed by the It was a great smoke, flawless construction and great flavors. I knew it was going to have a nice dose of pepper before I even smoked it, and guess what, it did. I would smoke this over and over especially at that price point. Even though I do love some of their other lines I think this might be my new go to from the Garcia family.
