The Don Pepin Garcia JJ Maduro was one of the first releases that really put Jose “Don Pepin” Garcia on the map. Along with the Blue Label and Black Label Cuban Classic, the JJ and JJ Maduro are very well known blends. This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience. As Pepin’s success in the cigar business rose and My Father Cigars was created, many more brands have been added to the company’s portfolio. In order to make room, the Garcia’s had planned to remove the DPG JJ Maduro from their catalog. As soon as Atlantic heard that, they asked Pepin if we could continue to offer the JJ Maduro exclusively and they not only accepted, but have also added a few new sizes to the lineup, the Petit Corona being one of them.
