Oscar Valladares Cigars 2012 by Oscar Connecticut
The silky shade-grown expression in Oscar's historic 2012 Mayan lineup, this blend is handcrafted at Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co. in Danlí, Honduras. Dressed in a golden Honduran Connecticut wrapper over aged estate long-fillers, it produces an approachable, creamy mild-to-medium smoke overflowing with velvety sweet cream, Spanish cedar, toasted almond, sun-cured hay, and white pepper.

Klaro Cigars · Jun 1, 2026
Honduran Shade wrapped, and perfectly box-pressed, this torpedo is one of the best-burning cigars we carry, and it smells and tastes very unique...

An herbal, woody cigar with a straw-and-hay quality. Hints of black tea, honey and vanilla are vague, but perceptible. The cigar draws and burns evenly, but could use more body.

This certainly isn’t a new cigar, be I've yet to have it grace my humidor, so I figured I'd give it a review. For starters, the draw and smoke output are excellent. Spice hits right out front, continuing through to the finish, and it lingers until the next pull. Sweetness plays in there, hinting at vanilla and followed up by an understate
