I think the Exclusivo Reserva is one of the best Exclusivo offerings I have had and I love the line when pressed. A box worthy cigar, if you find them, do not hesitate in purchasing.

Viaje Exclusivo Double Edged Sword

For a Nicaraguan puro, the Viaje Double Edged Sword didn't inundate me with pepper or beat me over the head with strength at all. Perhaps  this is due to the two years of age that it has, but I found it allowed the amazing flavors to really shine through. I'm really disappointed I only grabbed one of these off a friend way after their release and only got around to smoking it two years later. These are definitely hard to come by now and can easily fetch $15-20 in the secondary market. As previously stated this is actually the first Viaje I've ever gotten around to smoking and I enjoyed it a lot. Great flavors, flawless construction, and an interesting vitola kept me interested and turned me on to the brand. With these being a very limited release from two years ago I can't say run out and buy one today, but if you come across any for sale don't hesitate to snatch them up even at a slightly inflated price.

The Viaje Exclusivo Chiquito is released once every two years in very small batches to a handpicked retailer. Last year, the 2015 release landed at Atlantic Cigar. Originally released in 2009, the cigar was was made available in two stores and sold out so quickly Andre Farkas decided to make it a bi-annual release. The small figurado shape is a classic, and over the past 6 years, the Chiquito has gained rave reviews and a close following. This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience. The 2015 Viaje Exclusivo Chiquito production was 100 boxes, packed in slide top cabinets of 25 cigars. The cigar has a classic miniature figurado shape coming in at 4 7/8 x 51.
