Espresso | Dark chocolate | Anise Richly deep/deeply rich espresso with brilliant crema atop. Plush dark chocolate w/ spice attachments we'll cover in a bit. First to mention the anise again... quite fennel & with a Dr. Pepper nod. Spices: Smoked paprika, allspice, cumin. Pepper: black & enveloped in creamy compost earth. Lush like my great uncle Leon was. Dense. Roasted. Just the right tick of spitty on its salted caramel body which adds thatta way to the primary-laden finish. Long legs. Gams,

Coarse in appearance with a glue-stained wrapper and jagged cap. First puffs are acidic but take on notes of marshmallow and vanilla with a touch of coffee bean and graham cracker before the harsh finish. The burn is blistery.

The Villiger Do Brasil Maduro Robusto showcases some of the best qualities of Brazilian tobacco. Flavors ranged from sweetness, cedar, creaminess, plum, fig, leather and earth. The strength of the cigar seemed to settle around the medium mark. I would light up another Do Brasil Maduro again, as I enjoyed the smoking experience.
