Chunky (candy bar) | Tajin seasoning | Sandalwood Well-rounded sweet profile with an occasional citrus barb. Nice spice play. Harmonious mostly, a bit jittery-excited. Feels a bit lighter than it tastes. Clean finish. Burns wobbly, grows dry-ish ash. Excellent draw. Big smoke out-put; sweet-sour smaller aroma of a powdery quality. Slim bod is a talc-like consistency, as well. Takes a few beats to decide what it wants to be, then fairly accomplishes itself.

Alec Bradley Thirty Years Perfecto

I purposely waited to review this particular vitola, as it seemed like the more interesting of the bunch. I very much regret that choice. For most of the three cigars, I felt like the vitola was literally or otherwise constricting the flavor profile. However, even when the draw was spot-on, the flavor was lacking. Too monotonous, a bit thin, and not all that dynamic. I don't know if all of my issues will be fixed by picking one of the three more pedestrian vitolas, but it surely can't hurt.

I truly enjoyed the first half of the Alec Bradley Thirty Years Toro. The flavor profile was well rounded and very approachable, being abundantly sweet and creamy with added spice and minerals. But unfortunately, the latter half was a bit too tannic in wood and minerals.
