Avo XO Notturno (Tubo)
Cigar Aficionado · Apr 1, 2024
Much more polished than it looks, this bumpy cigar brings a toasty, nutty smoke to the palate with subtle notes of honeyed tea, orange peel and caramel. Elegant and easygoing.

The AVO XO Maestoso is the size with the most generous dimensions of the line: it is a slightly oversized Churchill , due to the larger ring gauge (48 instead of 47) compared to the standard size. The peculiarity of the tobaccos, underlined by the name of the line, is an aging of six years. […]

Avo XO
Holt's Staff Reviews · Apr 22, 2021
I am smoking an Avo XO called the Intermezzo. The cigar is a standard 5 x 50 Robusto, and Intermezzo is a musical composition that fits between two other major compositions, similar to an interlude. Many Avo cigars are named for musical terms because the brand’s founder, Avo Uvezian, was a notable Armenian-American jazz pianist. Before his passing in 2017, Uvezian served as the brand’s main showman and was easy to spot at events around the country in his straw mimbre hat and white Brioni suit with a cigar in hand.Read full review on Holt's Staff Reviews
