Comparing the AVO Classic Maduro against the light-wrapped original, I have always found them both to be very satisfying cigars. This 2020 maduro version is similarly enjoyable. While it changes up the profile of the original to a darker, spicier persona, it makes for just as enjoyable of a smoking experience. Grab one, along with a nice aged rum, turn on some jazz piano, and have a toast to a legend!

The AVO Classic Maduro No. 2, while not new, is a great re-release for 2020. The blend is balanced and approachable. Any cigar smoker would enjoy it, it just depends on the time of day. This is a morning and evening maduro in my opinion and a great Connecticut Broadleaf offering from AVO. I loved the cocoa, coffee, cream and cereal notes.
