While I tend to think of Black Label Trading Co. as a brand offering big, bold, maybe even brash flavor profiles, this was a cigar that was anything but. It starts lively but also incredibly measured, a trait it holds onto from the first puff to the very last. It’s not shy with the pepper, but it’s also not overdone; rather, all three cigars had seemingly the ideal amount. The thread of creaminess is an excellent counterbalance, with seemingly every puff somewhere between very good and excellent. Combine that with essentially flawless construction, and this is a cigar worth seeking out.
