Big bursts of minerals and leather set the tone for this robusto, which draws and burns evenly. Hints of hickory and red wine bring some complexity before the sweet vermouth finish.

Crowned Heads Broadway Epicure

Halfwheel · Aug 21, 2025 · June 2025

For me, this is kind of the comfort food of cigars: rich, hearty, and flavorful. Sometimes it works really well, sometimes it's good but not spectacular, in some instances, it simply adds up on the aspects that lean towards comfort, rather than cuisine. Other times, it layers on those rich, familiar flavors that makes a meal one of those ones you want to lick the plate clean. Either way, this is the kind of cigar you light up, settle in, and be ready for the kind of sensation that what I consider to be a proper supper would deliver.

Smooth draw and smoke output for days. Perfect amount of spice mixes with earth and an underlying sweetness. Good start.Brown sugar sprinkles around. When people talk about Off-Broadway, it tends to make me laugh. The term Off-Off-Broadway is even more hilarious to me.Broadway’s finish is dark. Medium roast coffee, a touch of leather

Crowned Heads Broadway Epicure

Developing Palates · Oct 13, 2025 · June 2025

The Crowned Heads Broadway Epicure offered a restrained and balanced start, highlighted by sweet tobacco, nutmeg and some subtle vegetal notes. Unfortunately, the profile lost its balance in the second and final thirds, as dryness and bitterness began to weigh down the experience. The burn and draw were excellent throughout, but overall the flavor performance couldn’t sustain the promise of the first third.
