Crowned Heads Cigars Juarez
Ranked in our Best Cheap Cigars Under $5 GuideOriginally created as an accessible, cost-conscious riff on Crowned Heads' acclaimed Jericho Hill blend, Juarez is rolled at Tabacalera Pichardo in Estelí, Nicaragua. Cloaked in a dark Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan fillers, it yields an expressive medium-to-full smoke brimming with seasoned oak, black pepper, rich cream, and florals.

Juarez by Crowned Heads might be one of the most rich and flavorful "value" smokes on the market today. Inspired by Cocaine Blues, this is a must have.Read full review on The Cigar Authority

Late in 2018, Crowned Heads Cigars announced an exclusive offering to Thompson Cigar known as Juarez. It is the latest Crowned Heads line to be inspired by the song Cocaine Blues. In particular the reference to Juarez comes in that song’s lyrics (“Made a good run but I run too slow they overtook me down […] Key flavors: Oak, Cream, Chocolate, Fruit, Black Pepper, Floral.

I think one thing that has kept Crowned Heads consistently showing up in the industry is the ability to adapt to new adventures and still deliver fantastic cigars. The Juarez was a new project for them and I think it delivered. In fact I would stand this cigar up against the rest of the ‘budget’ cigars that CA releases every year and I would be surprised if this wasn’t the best smoke out of all of them! So, do yourself a favor, head on over to Thompson Cigar , and pick yourself up a 5 pack of these things, you won’t be disappointed!

Crowned Heads launched the Juarez line in late 2018. Like many of their lines, this one is also inspired by a song, namely Cocaine Blues by Johnny Cash. This is the second line of cigars that takes inspiration from that song, the first one being Jericho Hill, some of the sizes even share the […]

Give me a good tasting profile for two thirds of the cigar and a flawless draw and burn, all wrapped up in a ~$6 USD price point and I say you've got yourself a winner. I've had some excellent Mexican San Andrés wrapped cigars from Crowned Heads in 2018 (Court Reserve XVIII, Buckeye Land) and the Crowned Heads Juarez Robusto is really no exception.
