While I was covering the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust booth at last year’s PCA Convention & Trade Show, Saka told me he expected this blend to be a bit more controversial, as it was made to taste significantly different from the majority of his products on the market. After smoking three of these, I have to say that at least the second prediction is correct. At times, it is rich and refined, at other times, it is dense and chewy. There was at least one flavor in the profile of the 10th Jubillee that I have never tasted in a Dunbarton blend before— the Fig Newton sweetness—and the red pepper on the retrohale is not common either. Regardless, this is an excellent blend and a fitting release to commemorate the occasion it was created for.

This Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust 10th Jubilee is a beautiful cigar. The only two complaints that could be used against the cigar, and I don’t think these are truly justified, is the draw is too snug, and it is too strong of a cigar. The flavors are complex throughout, and there is so much depth with the profile of the cigar. The size of the cigar is beautiful, and the smoking experience is fantastic. I want to smoke another one right now.
