I am a sucker for unique or innovative packaging, and the Punch Dad's Home Movies certainly delivers in that regard. Of course, there is more to a cigar than what it is packaged in, and the Punch does very well in that regard as well, boasting a profile that includes main flavors of charred meat, sourdough bread, creamy cashews and popcorn at the top of its list. Add in excellent construction and a sweetness on the retrohale that changes as the cigar progresses, and the result is an impressive addition to General’s lineup at an extremely wallet-friendly price point.

The Punch Dad's Home Movies had an average flavor profile throughout, focused around the heavily toasted cedar, earth and black pepper. Not a very exciting cigar and not something I'd see myself coming back to. The price point is very attractive though, so it's worth it to try one just to see what you think.
