Viaje Cigars TNT
Shaped like a stick of dynamite complete with an elongated fuse pigtail cap, Viaje TNT is rolled at Raíces Cubanas in Honduras. Wrapped in an authentic Nicaraguan Corojo '99 leaf over an all-Nicaraguan core, this full-bodied powerhouse explodes with flavor, releasing intense notes of red pepper, cedar, leather, earth, and roasted nuts.

Back in March, Viaje announced that its Independence Day seasonal release, the Viaje TNT and the Viaje C-4 would be making a return after a one year hiatus. These cigars returned with a couple of big changes. First up, these would mark the first Viaje releases to come out of the Dominican Republic at the […]

The TNT was one of Viaje’s earliest cigars. The company created it to celebrate Independence Day in 2010. Over 7 more years there was a TNT though some years were skipped. The last TNT was released in 2021 and now we have the TNT 2023. The Viaje TNT 2023 is expressed in a single (6 x Read more about Cigar Review: Viaje Cigars TNT 2023 – Rated 89[…]

I don’t remember the last time I smoked a Viaje TNT, it quite possibly could have been a decade ago. I’ve never thought of it as one of Viaje’s more complex or desirable offerings, but this version was exactly that. Not only is it a flavorful and complex cigar, albeit with some burn issues, it’s noticeably different than most of the core Viaje flavor profiles. Given the lack of information about what this cigar is made of or where it was rolled, I’m not sure if we are going to see more of this going forward, but I would certainly appreciate it.
