Macanudo Gold Label Golden Nugget

Cigar Aficionado · Jun 20, 2023 · Cigar Insider

Short and squat, this sandy-hued cigar burns and draws evenly, producing lots of creamy smoke. Impressions of cedar and vanilla take shape on the palate with touches of caramel and almond before a short finish hinting of candied pecan.

Macanudo Gold Label 2023 Gold Nugget

Kaplowitz · May 22, 2023

Praline | Citrus/White pepper | Suede Suede engulfs all, as 'all' sits in a sandbox. Citrusy white pepper with spoonful of sugar slight-jitteriness. Praline(hazelnuts)--cream and vanilla. Though sneakily-edgy, meets expected consistency. An unsurprising blend in a vitola that pushes its consistency down your gullet. "You like this? Here have more." Seems easy to read that in a threatening manner--but if you like this--you'll be a delighted and a heavily-sated smiling glutton. Zero performance wo

Macanudo Gold LabelGold Torpedo 2025

CigarCzars · Jun 24, 2025

Macanudo Gold Label 2025 are limited edition cigars made in the Dominican Republic with a Connecticut Shade Capa Especial wrapper, Mexican binder, and a blend of Mexican and Dominican filler tobaccos. The Torpedo (6.5 x 52) vitola is new for 2025 and is priced at $13.29 per cigar. However, Macanudo Gold Label 2025 cigars are also available in seven other sizes. These cigars were released in May 2025, and will available until supplies run out. For more information about these cigars, please see thepress release. The sample Macanudo Gold Label Gold Torpedo 2025 cigar began with smoke that was mild, smooth and creamy, making for a perfect first cigar for beginners, as well as a perfect morning smoke for connoisseurs. The flavor was quickly joined by a subtle natural tobacco sweetness along with hints of a very mild spice. The cigar had such a great and smooth draw that it was very difficult to stop myself from puffing too fast. I ashed the cigar for the first time after only 12 minutes, and then again 13 minutes later. The cigar burned evenly and somewhat rapidly, and it did not take long to develop a long ash. At this point, I slowed down a bit and didn't ash the cigar again for another 20 minutes. The flavors remained consistently enjoyable until the very end, taking only 60 minutes to smoke the 6.5-inch torpedo down to only 1½ inches remaining. During that time, no relights nor touch-ups were needed. I enjoyed this cigar from start to finish and there was never even a hint of any sour flavors, which is not always the case with some milder cigars. I enjoyed the Macanudo Gold Torpedo so much that I am rating it with a superior 4.25 points on a 5-point scale, which is an exceptional rating for a milder cigar. These cigars are made with the first and second primings of the tobacco plant, and are produced in limited quantities for a limited period of time. I recommend trying a few now before it is too late!

Macanudo Gold Label

Holt's Staff Reviews · Jul 5, 2024

The mighty Macanudo brand has been producing its annual limited-edition Gold Label since 2002, and today I’m smoking this blend in a classic 6-by-52 Toro called the Tudor. Of course, we all know Macanudo Café as the most popular Macanaudo and one of the most popular non-Cuban cigars ever created. Much of that has to do with the fact that Macanudo was the first really successful non-Cuban brand sold in the U.S. following the Cuban trade embargo in 1962 – and the Café blend has always been a mild, easygoing cigar that virtually anyone can smoke.

MACANUDO GOLD LABEL

Comedy Cigars Music · Jul 16, 2023

Golden Nugget’s hefty smoke brings honey, earth, coffee, and mild leather to the palate, and if I were in my shed today, I imagine the smoke output would fill the place in short order. Excellent.Earth, salt, and coffee drop through the nose. The finish host coffee, leather, and a touch of sweetened grain

Macanudo Gold Label 2025 Torpedo

Developing Palates · Sep 26, 2025 · May 2025

The Macanudo Gold Label 2025 Torpedo had an average flavor profile throughout, focused around toasted cedar and earth. The construction paper didn't help or hurt the profile. Overall, just an average offering. It smokes smooth and has strength below medium, so a cigar that anyone could enjoy, it just isn't something that I'd be eager to come back to.
